Winter Work and Resistance Training

This Winter I have been working on building strength and power for the Georgia Death Race. Because running can take up time I have been concentrating more on the resistance training and been running to build a base. With the race just under three months, I will be slowly transitioning to running a little more and the workouts will be focused on maintaining strength and power. Also the resistance training will be for recovery. So far I have just had a small ankle pain from running on technical trails, but that is getting better everyday. Never fear resistance training for the purpose of making running sustainable and fun. You do not have to get big or be a gym rat. More later on specific routines. Enjoy the outdoors wherever you are.
